What Is Ketamine Therapy?

Ketamine is a fast-acting medication that, at sub-anesthetic doses, has shown rapid and lasting effects on symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood-related conditions—particularly for individuals who haven’t responded to conventional medications or talk therapy alone.

Unlike traditional antidepressants, which can take weeks to work, ketamine often brings relief within hours to days by acting on different brain pathways and encouraging neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to rewire and heal).

Benefits of Ketamine Treatment

Rapid Symptom Relief

Many clients report improvement in mood, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts after just one or two sessions.

Effective for Treatment-Resistant Conditions

Ideal for individuals who haven’t found relief through traditional medications or therapy alone.

Neuroplasticity Activation

Helps the brain form new neural connections—supporting emotional flexibility and recovery.

Safe, Supervised Care

Every session is conducted by licensed professionals in a calm, monitored medical setting.

Our Ketamine Therapy Services

We offer two distinct paths based on your needs and treatment goals. Both begin with a comprehensive evaluation with Dr. Justin Gerstner, Medical Director, to determine if ketamine is the right fit for your care plan.

1. Ketamine-Only Treatment

For clients seeking ketamine as a standalone treatment, we provide medical supervision, careful dosing, and ongoing monitoring throughout your sessions. This option may be ideal for individuals who are not currently in therapy or prefer to use ketamine independently under clinical care.

Start by scheduling your intake with Dr. Gerstner.

2. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

In KAP, ketamine is administered in a comfortable, therapeutic setting with a licensed therapist present throughout the session. This integrative approach supports real-time emotional exploration and deep insight, with your therapist helping to guide and ground the experience.

After your initial evaluation, Dr. Gerstner will help coordinate your care by pairing you with one of our trusted KAP-trained therapists. This ensures your journey is supported both medically and therapeutically, every step of the way.

To begin either path, schedule a consultation with Dr. Gerstner here.
